1. Scope and meaning
nith LLC ("nith," "we," or "us") uses cookies and similar browser technologies in the EasyAsPie platform. A cookie is information stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage and IndexedDB keep information within a browser; session storage ordinarily lasts for that tab's session. Browser restoration features can preserve a session beyond closing a window.
This policy covers our platform and the nith functionality described below. Businesses using EasyAsPie may add services to their own sites. Their notices should explain those services and their consent or opt-out choices. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing more generally: Privacy policy.
Some technologies provide requested account or access functions. Others remember preferences, support editing, or measure visits. A purpose label describes what a technology does; it does not itself determine whether applicable law requires consent.
2. Cookies used by nith
Cookie lifetimes below are configured maximums unless otherwise stated. A cookie can be removed sooner, renewed through use, or blocked by your browser. Not every cookie is set for every visitor. Secure production names of the Better Auth cookies can include the __Secure- prefix.
| Cookie | Where and when used | Purpose | Configured lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
nith.session_token | Platform sign-in | Authenticates a session. | 30 days; renewed during continued use according to session settings. |
nith.session_data | Platform sign-in | Caches session information for signed-in requests. | Up to 7 days. |
nith.admin_session | Staff impersonation workflow | Allows staff to return to their administrative session after authorized support or administration. | Up to 30 days. |
dash-theme and nith-theme | Dashboard and platform appearance | Remember light, dark, or system appearance. | 1 year. |
dash-rail | Dashboard | Remembers whether the side menu is folded. | 1 year. |
dash-style-mode | Dashboard and editor | Remembers Simple or Advanced controls. | 1 year. |
nith_billing_notice_<site> | Dashboard, after dismissal | Remembers a dismissed billing notice. | Browser session; no persistent expiry is set. |
nith_site_preview | A site's own hostname, for an authorized preview | Holds a signed pass to preview a hidden site. | 6 hours. |
nith_page_<page id> | A site's own hostname, after a correct page password | Holds a signed page access pass; it does not contain the page password. | 30 days; changing access settings can invalidate the pass sooner. |
nith_bug_session | Bug Center sign-in | Authenticates the Bug Center session. | Up to 30 days for reporters; at most 1 hour for staff and administrators. |
nith_bug_oauth | Bug Center sign-in handoff | Validates the sign-in handoff and return destination. | 10 minutes; cleared after a successful handoff. |
Authentication, preview, and page-access cookies support the requested access function. The appearance and dismissal cookies support preferences. Their legal classification and any required consent treatment are reflected in To be confirmed: consent and opt out control description.
3. Other browser storage
The first-party nith.workspace cookie remembers the last authorized workspace for the matching signed-in account. It contains the account identifier and an allowlisted dashboard, Studio, agency or platform path, with a rolling 30-day lifetime. It does not grant access; permissions are checked again when the workspace is opened. Clearing cookies removes the preference.
Jot uses local storage keys nith:jot:floating-width, nith:jot:floating-position, nith:jot:agency-position and nith:jot:conversation-height to remember window dimensions and placement. They contain pixel values, not conversation text or profile data, and remain on that browser until the applicable preference is reset or browser storage is cleared. These preferences are not synchronized to another browser by the collaboration service.
The following keys or key families are used when the relevant feature is opened or used. <site>, <page>, and similar labels represent the current item. Local storage persists until removed by the application, you, or the browser; a count or size limit is not a fixed time limit. Session storage ordinarily lasts for the tab session.
| Storage and keys | Purpose and information |
|---|---|
Local storage: nith.media.view, nith.media.per-page, soundways.dash.site, dash:recent-destinations:<site> | Media display preferences, last opened site, and recent dashboard destinations. The legacy soundways name is a storage identifier used by nith. |
Local storage: nith:agent:docked, nith:agent:dock-width | Jot panel position and width. |
Local storage: nith.studio.motion.v2:<site>, nith.studio.site-code.v1:<site>, nith.studio.colors.recent.v1:<site>, nith.studio.keys.v1 | Preview switches, recent color choices, and customized keyboard shortcuts. |
Local storage: nith.studio.widgets.v1:<site>, nith.studio.add-tab.v1, nith.studio.panel_window.v1:styles:<site>, nith.studio.state_window.v1:<site> | Pinned widgets, active editor tab, and panel geometry or state. |
Local storage: nith.studio.clipboard.blocks.v1, nith.studio.clipboard.style.v1, nith.studio.history.v1:<site>:<page>, soundways:studio:custom_ghost_records | Copied blocks or styles, undo history containing page content, and saved sample records. These can contain information entered into the editor. |
Local storage: nith.studio.states.v1:<site>, nith.studio.logic.v1:<site>:<page or global>:<scope> | Custom state values and logic definitions used by editor features and supported interactive page actions. State actions can also read or write browser state on published pages. |
Local storage: ai-research-mode, ai-citations-enabled, ai-include-datetime, ai-include-location, ai-include-image-suggestions, ai-replace-content, ai-write-title-excerpt, ai-write-slug-tags, ai_personality | AI writing preferences. Their names describe choices; storing a preference does not itself perform the associated research or obtain location information. |
Local storage: nith.taskmcp.density.v1 | Compact or standard task view preference when the task workspace is used. |
Session storage: nith:agent:open, nith:agency-agent:open, dash-tour, nith:studio:return:<site>, nith.studio.view.v1:<site>:<page> | Panel visibility, a dashboard tour, return location, and editor viewport or selection state. |
Session storage: agent:prefill-product, agent:product:notified:<id> | A Jot product draft passed to a product form and whether the related notice has already appeared. The draft can contain product content. |
Session storage: nith:credit:<slug> | Avoids repeating a site's nith-attribution check within the tab session. |
IndexedDB: database nith-uploads, store multipart | Unfinished upload metadata: site, filename, size, upload identifier or digest, signed upload ticket, part progress, and time. It does not store file bytes. Entries are removed on completion or discard and treated as expired after 24 hours when cleanup runs. |
On a shared device, editor content retained in browser storage may remain after a tab is closed. Use browser site-data controls when you need to remove local copies. Clearing local storage does not delete content already saved to your EasyAsPie account or sent to a provider; deleting account content does not automatically clear a browser's local copies.
4. Analytics and other services
Umami. Our public pages and customer sites can load a tracker from our configured self-hosted analytics service. The integration is intended to operate without cookies. It still makes network requests and measures information such as pages, referrers, campaign parameters, device categories, and approximate location. Its legal treatment depends on the actual configuration and applicable rules, including rules concerning access to device information.
Cloudflare Turnstile. Where a form uses Turnstile, your browser communicates with Cloudflare for abuse protection. Cloudflare processes technical information under the terms applicable to that service. Its browser behavior can depend on challenge and configuration settings.
Stripe. Payment, billing portal, and seller onboarding pages hosted by Stripe use Stripe's own browser technologies and notices.
Customer analytics and scripts. A customer can enable Google Analytics or Tag Manager, supply a Meta Pixel identifier, or add custom code. Those services may store or access identifiers, measure activity, or load other recipients. A customer-enabled setting is distinct from a visitor giving consent.
Maps, images, videos, forms, and examples. A map or an external image makes a request to its hosting service. Some video blocks wait for playback before loading a YouTube or Vimeo player, but a YouTube-hosted thumbnail can load sooner. Older rich-text embeds and other outside forms or scripts can behave differently. Opening an embedded customer example can load that customer's own configured services. Consult the relevant site's notice and provider policies.
5. Your choices
To be confirmed: consent and opt out control description.
You can inspect, restrict, and remove cookies and stored site data using your browser settings. Blocking authentication or access cookies may prevent sign-in or protected-page access. Removing preferences resets the affected interface; removing editor storage may discard local history or drafts. Browser controls alone may not satisfy a consent or opt-out right that applicable law requires the website to provide.
To be confirmed: do not track and global privacy control disclosure.
6. Updates and contact
We update this policy to reflect material changes in the technologies described here. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required by applicable law.
